P.S. Egrets galore,
 Prior to boarding and after disembarking the Condor at Sea Landing, Tara and I notices multiple pairs of Egrets ad 2pairs of Herons in a few trees right on Cabrillo Blvd. overlooking the kiddy Pool. The pool is closed to the public until Memorial Day. They appear to favor those trees as a nesting location. Carolyn McClesky said she has noticed an unusually high number ofEgrets in her neighborhood of Santa Barbara, too. Carolyn, can you give your details? Paul

They were delighted with the whole trip, and all passed the test to get off the boat by explaining the difference between a seal and a sea lion.

We followed the pair up to the Goleta Pier, where viewers on the pier had a good look as well from only 25 yds away. Captain Dave than took us out about a mile, and we soon had an escort of 25 playful Common Dolphin.
