The last day of the coastal trips for the year
Noon trip saw a quick and then gone whale ...  Most did not see it ... Pretty sure it was Gray but Sally and I questioned if it could have been a humpback but it never surfaced again that we saw
Then we followed a cow calf pair for a while 

3pm nothing for a very long time
Then a quick look at a solitary juvenile that disappeared and was never seen again
All the way (90+%) back to harbor, nothing; then we saw a cow calf pair at about 15 minutes out and the trip was saved. We had great looks for a while which lead us to getting back to the dock at about 6pm. 
There was suppose to be a cruise ship in town today and a whale charter but when we went by the harbor mid-day there was no ship???
