[CINC] IPCO whale watching May 13

This was one of the most outstanding if not the most outstanding whale 
watching trip I have been on in my 12 years as a naturalist. The quality 
of the sightings was amazing.  Good views of the blue whale giving a 
fair idea of its immense size.  However, view of one of the humpbacks 
was spectacular.  The whale came over to the boat, went under it 
numerous times, spy hopped right in front of us, and showed every other 
immaginable behavior except breeching.  Of course we had the benefit of 
their breath, close up views of the barnacles on them, their immense 
pectoral fins etc.   A day to be remembered for a long time.
