[CINC] MPA celebration this Saturday

For those of you who can't get on a boat this weekend but would still like to be involved in some ocean-fun, Santa Barbara Channelkeeper is throwing a SPLASH (Surf, Paddle, Learn and Swim Hangout) event to celebrate our Marine Protected Areas.
 
The event is Saturday, October 5th from 11-2 above Devereux Beach in Isla Vista (intersection of Camino Majorca & Del Playa). 
We'll be staging an aerial photo of everyone out in the water with our huge WE LOVE MPAs banner, with notable speakers, live music, raffle prizes and free food for participants. 
Several paddle boards and kayaks will be available for folks who can't bring their own.
