Dear everybody,
My email saying my spot and all other Condor spots on 10/5 were open was sent within minutes of the shutdown message saying no volunteer shifts were to be worked. 
Had I received the shutdown message first, I wouldn't have tried to fill the void.
 
Please, no more helpful messages pointing this out--I have received PLENTY.
