[CINC] CX Trip Report for August 31, 2013

Zero Whales
150 Common Dolphins
10 Risso
... and the usual Seal Lions in all the usual places.

Capt Dave and the CX Crew worked long and hard to find whales on Saturday for eager visitors from Luxemburg, China and Australia. The sea state was glass and the visibility ideal. We could see 25 feet into the water from the fly-bridge. If there was a whale with 3 miles, the CX we would have found it. Other naturalists were David and Karen Telleen-Lawton. We had very good luck using the new SpotterPro iPad application - it worked flawlessly.

Even though we did not see whales, it was gorgeous day on the water.
