Valerie O. says the 1/3 weight loss of a Gray mamma includes baby coming
off board and milk and fasting & all the rest, so I still think the 65% figure is way high.

Perhaps that body weight loss includes the weight of her newly born calf, which would be

Do you think this is true? Females would lose SIXTY FIVE percent of body weight?! I always thought the figure was one third body weight. Over half - 65% well over a half - is a heck of a change.
Has anybody heard this figure before? Maybe I missed it.
