7 humpback whales (Rope included), one spectacular breach!
2 Minke (separate sightings)
2 pods common dolphins, 500 & 50

Captain Dave, along with crew, Cassidy & Eric took us westward, "hugging" the coastline inside the oil derricks, almost to
Ventura where humpbacks have been seen.  Very successful strategy.  Fairly continuous sighting of humpbacks.  One
humpback breached very close to the boat on its side, belly & throat presentation to the boat!  Exciting.  Those passengers
& we, who witnessed this, were awed and delighted.  Very successful trip for passengers from Germany, Argentina, Texas,
New York, Arizona & various parts of California (our fair state).  A special day on the water to share with fellow naturalists,
Don G., PID and Ginny F.
