<font size="2">I have received several comments and questions about
this year being a La Niña, El Niño or La Nada? Here are two links to
some of the best current information available on the subject. For the
most part, early in the year there was La Niña conditions, but those
seem to be diminishing. Overall, the Channel Islands have experienced
average water temperatures during the month of May. </font><br>
