The Santa Barbara Channel Swimming Association will be hosting the 5th
Annual Santa Barbara Channel Relay Swim to benefit the National Marine
Sanctuary Foundation and Heal the Ocean to provide hands-on field
opportunities
for under served students in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties and to
support ocean conservation at the <st1:place w:st="on">Channel Islands</st1:place>.

The Relay Swim scheduled for
September 12-13, 2008 is open to anyone that can swim in the ocean for
at least
20 minutes with ease. Join the relay team to take part in swimming
from Santa
Cruz Island to <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Goleta</st1:placename>
<st1:placetype w:st="on">Beach</st1:placetype></st1:place> to help
protect
our ocean for future generations! <b><font color="#ff0000"><br>
