Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary Santa Barbara public scoping meeting
               
On June 22nd 1999, a public scoping session was held by the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary in order to scope out the major issues to be addressed in the draft of the new management plan for the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. This session was one of five public sessions held locally and included discussions on boundary expansion, water quality, agency collaboration, fishing regulations, public awareness, funding, and adaptive management.
