Santa Barbara Aububon Society Meet a Real Raptor Program

A one-time classroom visit with one of our birds offers an in-depth look at a local raptor species. Bring science "to life" with one of our birds. Choose from Max, the Great Horned owl, Ivan, the Red-tailed hawk, Squirt, the Red-shouldered hawk; Grumpy, the tiny Western Screech owl, or Sedona, a Peregrine falcon.

Grade-specific California State Science standards worksheets and vocabulary lists are included with the presentation. Available for Kindergarten through 6th grade, one classroom per visit.
