Creag Ghorm is a "top" at the west end of Beinn a' Bheithir, the "Ballachulish Horseshoe", on the south shore of a bay of Loch Linnhe. This panorama was taken in May, 2002 from about the 1500-foot level, where there is a view across Loch Linnhe to the west and down Loch Leven to the east. The village of Onich is on the north shore of the bay, near the center of this panorama (notice where your scroll bar is). The snow-capped mountain visible in the distance "above" the Ballachulish bridge is Ben Nevis, the UK's highest mountain. The pointed peak on the north shore of Loch Leven near the right end of the panorama is the "Pap of Glencoe".

The seven digital images that make up the panorama were taken in May 2002 in the "portrait" format at a resolution of 640x480 pixels. The camera was an Olympus C-3040Zoom, using a "SmartMedia" memory card with panorama capture capability. The images were assembled using Photoshop 4, rather than an automatic "stitching" program.
