The Pap of Glencoe (officially named "Sgòr na Ciche") is a landmark mountain in the Scottish Highlands, at the western end of the Pass of Glencoe, looming above the village of Glencoe. The summit is 2430 feet, so it is not a Munro (summit over 3000 feet). However, its summit provides an excellent view of the area around the villages of Glencoe and Ballachulish (pronounced "Balla-HOO-lish"), including many well-known mountains.

The seven photographs that make up the panorama (which is not quite 360 degrees) were taken in May of 1987, using a Nikon 35mm PC lens, and Kodak 100 color print film. The negatives were scanned with a Minolta QuickScan 35 Plus, and their images assembled in Photoshop 4.0.
