This is a day by day journal of my attempts to learn Java programming on the Macinosh. Beware! You may become as confused as I was (am?) while reading this. 9/27/96 Web Week had an article by Whit Andrews and Jeremy Carl about a new Sun + Apple technology integration alliance. They will open an interoperability lab to bind their products closer. Poor multitasking and native thread suprt in the Mac OS caused deficiencies in Mac Java according to KL Group. The integration of Java Beans with OpenDoc architecture is promising. As is the ability to access QuickTime from Java.
