This house is circa 1875....Locally known as the Baxter House, it was owned by the Baxter family until 1918.
It later became the home of a local fireman, Mr. James Tucker, for approximately 40 years.
Subsequent to this, it was subdivided into smaller appartment units by making minor additions to the structure, unfortunately not much heed was taken in observing architectural integrity. But despite that, the majesty of the structure still speaks for itself.
