Joe and Lisa's Trip to France
July 1996

I will re-post the pictures I had on this page at a later date.  I am reworking the content of the page at this time.

France 1996
After a horrible flight on Tower Airlines we arrived in Paris to begin our 12 day vacation in France.  As we were going down the runway at LAX a pilot in a plane behind us noticed that patch had blown off the back of the plane and hydraulic fluid began shooting out.  Luckily for us he radioed the tower and our flight was barely aborted.  I noticed the problem when 4 fire trucks were driving alongside our plane.  After 11 hours on the runway at LAX we finally took off to Paris.  I have noticed quite a few articles in the Wall Street Journal that have pointed out some of Tower ever increasing problems such transferring fuel between tanks while flying as well as their notorious lack of customer service.  I have flown allot internationally and I would not recommend Tower to friends or family, not because of poor service, but because of the ongoing safety problems that the airline has.
