And I am active in Mensa, currently serving as the Editor of Channel M, newsletter of the Channel Islands group. I was also their LocSec (President) for four years and am making a second run for Regional Vice Chairman of American Mensa's R egion 9. I also coordinate the Creative Mischief SIG.

I also belong to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). I also belong to their Computer Society. One of my current interests is MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS). There is a clearinghouse for information on this field, and a neat site for some graphics of examples.
