In March we worked on the garden.  We picked some carrots, bok choy and snow peas.  Then we mixed the compost.  We also put dead plants and newspaper to the compost.  We added newspaper to the compost bin because it keeps the temperature high so the decomposers can work.

This is the stinky bin [compost] These  are the little corrots in the hands of a fifth grader.
Christine is planting potatoes to help the garden. Here we see some girls picking weeds at the garden.
If you look close enough, you see green catepillars we found on a leaf in the garden. Here we see some fellow classmates working in the garden while we sit back and take pictures.
Here we see a rampaging slug  slaughtering every plant in its sight. We were lucky enough to catch the little rascal. Or did we? After we caught the rampaging slug, we captured his evil but small companion, Roly The Poly!@$$
