We spent a class period in Science testing for acids and bases.  We tested threee solutions with univesal indicator. the solutions were vinegar, and NaOH(sodoum hydroxide), and vinegar, and NaOH together. When you add a drop of universal indicator to a solution changes colors.  When the indicator turns the color red, it is a acid, but if it is blue it means it is a base.
