The 5th graders at St. James School dissected Owl Pellets.  Owl pellets are the throw up of owls after they've eaten.  They throw up the parts of the animals  that they just have eaten that they can't digest. See what the owls eat!

 
 

These rodent skulls come from the throw up of the owls the 5th graders dissected.  The choices that we could pick are:  Moles, voles, weasels, and small birds.

 
 

We think this is a mole.	We also think this is a vole.
