Chief Crazy Horse of the Oglala Sioux defeated the white man's armies at the battles of the One Hundred Slain ("Fetterman's Massacre"), Rosebud, and the Little Bighorn.
First, print out the preceding design.
1. Cut out paper figure. Cut fringes at sleeves. Fold sharply over at tail.
2. Put narrow rolls of tape inside the head and torso of Crazy Horse and his war poney's head and neck. Fasten. (Or use glue stick or staples at headress and bridle.)
3. Line up the bottom edges of the war bonnet. Tape flat so the headress hangs open and 3-D.
4. Fold bow in left hand. Fasten. Cut under the armpits to lower arms. Put folds into the shoulders, elbows, and wrists until the bow is in front and the right arm cocked back.
5. Fold leg flaps in at right angles to the hooves. Overlap and fasten them with tape, staples, or glue stick. Put a small bit of transparent tape across the back of the horse behind the rider.
