What is FLAIR/FFL?



Mission Statement: To break the crippling cycle of illiteracy.
Family Literacy: Aid In Reading (FLAIR) teaches adults English reading, writing and job market skills by providing one-to-one volunteer tutoring.

Families For Literacy (FFL) teaches parents how to read to their children and influence them to stay in school. Families For Literacy is offered in conjunction with FLAIR and requires that at least one parent be enrolled in the FLAIR program and have at least one child between the ages of 2 and 5 who will participate in the FFL program.
